A successful couple working in investment banking and technology approached our lender partner. Working with a Private Bank they structured a bespoke Home Link Mortgage across all three properties. The total facility covered the full cost of the transaction and was split into two parts:
- Part One: An interest-only mortgage secured against the new residence and their second home, with annual capital reductions over the first five years.
- Part Two: A two-year, interest-only facility secured against their current main residence, designed without early repayment penalties to allow flexibility when the property sold.
This structure enabled the clients to act swiftly on their desired purchase while preserving liquidity and control over the timing of their asset disposal.
Result
